I've previously extolled the virtues of film soundtracks for various reasons - revision soundtrack, or just to appreciate the music - here. And now adding to that list is the soundtrack to the film Sucker Punch, which I watched the other night.
Ignoring the film itself (I didn't actually think it was very good, although stylish), the music is fantastic. It's got Queen, Bjork and Skunk Anansie among others, but most notably were 3 songs performed by the film's lead Emily Browning. The best of these was an interpretation of the Eurythmics' classic Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This), which is beautiful. But I recommend the rest of the album as well.
The soundtrack made up for the film, which was just a bit confusing to be honest.
